Message	the stock configuration is that everything stays on the side it started on until it gets to the intake plenum where the actual runners feed the side of the engine opposite of the throttle body that supplies them. this is the ACTUAL crossover. ignore the balance tube. there should be no crossover involving the intercooler/s or else you are simply "undoing" the built in crossover.
